Case Study

A personal rendering project based loosely on an existing Tadao Ando and Olaf Eliasson Tokyo townhouse. Main objective of the case study was to explore the iconic geometric reflective tiles at the courtyard. The tiles were arranged thru custom scripts that allowed for random location and translation to make the interior walls of the courtyard dynamic.

The study was expanded to an interior room rendering involving research into advance modeling, texturing, and lighting techniques. Special attention was paid to creating furniture assets from scratch, in particular the generation of fabric elements.
